Trips

Exploring the outdoors

We pride ourselves in taking the children outdoors in all terrains & we enjoy exploring new places frequently. Local to Ambourne House are several duck ponds which we frequent to on sunnier days. We enjoy playing, exploring and having picnics in the sunshine. Other trips we like to organise are trips to the local library, garden centres, beaches and the theatre.

We always try to find new and exciting places to visit to give all children an opportunity to learn and discover. Any photos taken are always uploaded to our learning journal, Tapestry. Please check their frequently to see what we are getting up to!

To facilitate trips we have our own Minibus which can take up to 6 children. We also take children on the public bus so we can explore places not reachable on foot.

Thank you so much for a wonderful three and a half years at the best nursery. I’ve always said choosing Ambourne House was one of the best decisions I ever made and I stand by it.

quotes

For everyone at Ambourne House. Thankyou so much for all the support and kindness you have shown towards my son since his 1st day with you all. He has grown so much in confidence and in all his developments stages. Having him at Ambourne House was the best decision we both made. After visiting a few local settings, he was very certain he wanted to go to ‘the blue house’. It felt like a family environment and all the staff were so welcoming. I always felt at ease that he was very well looked after and safe. So, Thankyou so much. my son will miss Pre-school very much and his dad said he was teary when he was on his way home. Although this is sad to see, it gives us reassurance that by these emotions he was very fond of everyone at preschool. - M. Welch 01/09/21
